How to Apply for Work Experience

If you are 16 or over you can apply for work experience at Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust by completing the Application form and emailing to  rwh-tr.Work-Experience@nhs.net.

Applicants will be notified approx. 3 months prior to the dates requested of the result of their application

Please note it does take a number of weeks to arrange a work experience placement. You will be notified of your application progress as soon as possible.

Application requests will be capped at 30 for each month. After 30, any applications received will not be processed or retained.

All work experience opportunities are subject to:-

  • A Health Assessment Clearance – Please ensure you submit evidence of BCG and two MMR vaccinations to your application form. Hepatitis B immunisation may be required dependent upon the area/department you choose. Please either provide a stamped copy from your GP OR a copy of your Red immunisation book. Work Experience cannot commence until health assessment clearance has been confirmed. If you do not have the necessary evidence, please ring for further guidance before submitting your application
  • Availability of a work experience supervisor within the department requested
