Work with Us: Flexi-Bank Staffing

Flexi-Bank provides temporary cover for wards, departments and community services on a daily basis.

Bank Workers may be required to cover any short-term staff shortages, to help meet variations in activity levels as well as provide specific skills for a short period of time.Bank workers therefore can be required to work from a few days or hours notice.

Staff groups employed include nurses, midwives, healthcare assistants and admin and clerical staff.

What We Can Offer You
  • Flexibility
    You can work hours to suit your personal needs.
    You could work for a few days, a few weeks or for a number of months.
    Shifts vary from;
    • Early: 7am - 3pm
    • Late: 1pm - 9pm
    • Long Days: 7am - 9pm
    • Nights: 8pm - 7:30am
    • Twilights: 8pm - 4am 

      (shifts times are negotiable)

  • Competitive rates of pay
    - including enhanced pay for unsociable hours
  • Paid annual leave
    Accrual of paid annual leave (for bank workers only).

    Accrue 1 hour for every 8 hours worked- up to a maximum of 210 hours – to take at your leisure throughout the financial year.

Your Responsibilities to Us
  • Reliability

  • Information on any change in circumstances, e.g. new contact number, moving home, new bank account details or no longer wanting to be registered with the Bank 

  • Providing us with up-to-date training records 

  • Regular contact to advise us on your availability, this is usually as weekly / daily updates on your availability to work shifts – early, late, night, long days or twilights 

  • The ability to cover shifts with minimum notice where required 

To remain active on the Bank you will be required to work a minimum of 2 shifts within a three month period.

Staffing Bank workers are:-  
"Workers, who are registered with the RWT Bank, are available to be called on to work in a flexible capacity, to fill a temporary vacancy, or staffing shortfall. This type of work is carried out under the understanding of No Mutuality of Obligation”.

No Mutuality of Obligation simply means that the Trust is under no obligation to offer the Bank worker any work, and the Bank worker is under no obligation to accept any work offered to them.
