Nutrition and Dietetics

For Patients and Carers

Choosing the right person to seek help and advice from can sometimes be a confusing task. Many people claim to be experts in nutrition yet have very limited knowledge and offer no protection to the public. Registered Dietitians are very often referred to as the 'Gold Standard' when it comes to nutrition and food professionals.

Nutrition and Dietetics: Magda Kot
Trust a Dietitian

At The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust Dietitians can treat conditions such as coeliac disease, under nutrition, IBS and are key in advising and supporting people with diabetes, certain cancers, chronic kidney disease and conditions affecting swallowing ability. If you think you may benefit from an appointment with the Dietitian, discuss this with your Doctor or Nurse.

If you have an appointment with the Dietitian, check your appointment letter carefully to check where the appointment will be held, as we provide a service at several locations. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know well in advance so we can offer it to someone else by contacting the Hospital Appointments Team on 01902 694444.
