The Patient Involvement Partners play an important role within the Trust as they provide key input into reviewing and developing current and new services.
As a result of the hard work and commitment of the group, the Trust has benefited from the following workstreams;
- Complaints Reviews - What lessons can be learnt from how complaints were actioned as part of the Complaints Review Panel
- PLACE Assessments - Patient-Led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE) provide motivation for improvement by providing a clear message, directly from patients, about how the environment or services can be enhanced.
- Patient and Staff Access project - How to improve accessibility (mobility) across Trust sites to make and inclusive staff and patient experience
- 15 Step Challenge - A national initiative to create a structured lay perspective of a service through observations and making recommendations for improvements.
- Leaflets and Literature - Improvements made to the design and content of Trust resources to improve understanding and the delivery of key messages and information to patients
These developments and improvements have been welcomed and valued by staff across the Trust.
