Biography:

I was born in Manchester and moved to Wolverhampton in 1974 with my parents. I was educated at the Wolverhampton polytechnic in both Engineering and computer studies. Reason for becoming a Council of Member and aim:
Unfortunately, due to a concerning personal health issue, I was hospitalised for a period of time during my battle with covid/pneumonia, I witnessed the dedication and professionalism of whole staff from the domestic to consultant during very challenging times. During my recovery and one of my motivations was to “give the NHS something back”, so I became clinical Volunteer on the wards, what a fantastic experience and I then joined the Patent Involvement Partner in 2022. I continue with my Ward volunteering at least one shift a week.
Key Areas of Interest:
I do other volunteering work for a karate club in Wolverhampton, I am one of the Sensei’s and instruct students twice week, from 5 years old to 60 years old.
To relax I play the drums, do sketching and watch all different sports.
