Be the Voice of The Patient!

Have you received care from RWT in the last five years?  

Do you have an opinion about our health services and want to contribute?   

If the answer to both these questions is ‘Yes’ and you are aged over 16 – we warmly invite you to join our Council of Members.

Our Council of Members is a group of current and former patients – not employed by the Trust – who our patient experts.  The National Health Service is committed to involving patients in the design and running of services from inception to review and our Council of members plays a key part in achieving this. You have the experience to tell us what we need to know. 

There is a range of projects and initiatives for you to support if you have the time and commitment to actively contribute and to work with us.

There are 2 levels of membership.
  • Level 1: Focussing on working with patients and ensuring that they are informed and included
  • Level 2: Working with patients as above and participating in the review and planning meetings of the Council of members.

RWT offers, support, and necessary training for this rewarding role in the local community We welcome members from as a wide a range of backgrounds as possible in order to make sure that RWT’s services meet the needs of all of our local communities.
