Patient waiting lists

Patient waiting lists

Date of release: 30 December 2022

Our clinical teams here at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust regularly review non-emergency waiting lists to reduce delays for those who still need our services.

To support with this continued work, we will shortly be contacting patients in phases, by text message, asking them to let us know if they still need treatment. This message won’t come from a named sender but it will start with ‘The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust.’

Latest News: Patient Waiting Lists - We want to hear from you

Those who receive the message only need to let us know if they no longer need an appointment. If you still require an appointment, you don’t need to do anything. You will remain on the Trust waiting list and we will be in touch when an appointment becomes available.

If you don't think you do need an appointment any more, you can follow the simple steps to cancel, and you will be clinically reviewed and discharged back to your GP if appropriate.
