Today, The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust hosted 50 German dementia specialists as part of a delivering excellence in dementia care programme.

The German specialists were invited to the New Cross Hospital site to hear about the Trusts pioneering model of acute hospital care for patients with dementia, which is seen as a leading example of best practice.

The visit was organised as part of a sponsored deal by the multinational engineering and electronics company Bosch.

Gwen Nuttall, Chief Operation Officer, at the Trust said: “We were delighted to welcome our professional colleagues from Germany and see them experience the work our fabulous dementia team does.”
