They were all invited to the Mayor’s Parlour at the civic centre to receive their awards, with Chester singled out at Wolverhampton’s most active walker.
Walks Organiser Andrew Tomlinson said: “He walks for his health and jokes that walking is his “five a day” and keeps the doctor away.
“On several occasions he has discussed with me his annual health checks at his doctors surgery and his determination to stay fit & healthy and off medication.
“He is an inspiration to us all and proof of the benefits of exercise as we get older.”
Chester added: “I really enjoy taking part in the walks and it helps me to keep fit, which is important to me.”
Walking for Health in Wolverhampton has over 40 regular walks in different areas of the City.
The walks are especially suited for people who currently don't do much walking but who want to get healthier, fitter and be happier.
