This full day event is for students from school years 11–13 who would like to find out more about what a career in nursing and midwifery really means.
The day begins with informative talks about what each of the specialties is all about, possible career pathways, how to choose and apply for an apprenticeship or university and what the programmes / courses entail.
Attendees will be able to visit a ward area within the hospital for a tour, under the guidance of a student nurse or midwife and be given the opportunity to ask questions to the clinical professionals they meet.
Attendees will be participating in interactive hands-on sessions covering nursing and midwifery as well as our interactive SimWard.
