Volunteering is an activity that involves spending time, unpaid, doing something that aims to benefit the environment, individuals, or groups other than close relatives.
Offering your time for free is a great way to give back to your local community and make a lasting impact. Additionally, giving to others has been associated with positive mental well-being.
Our volunteers are here to improve and enhance the patient experience, complementing employed staff work across the Trust. Our volunteers come from all walks of life and represent the diversity of the communities we serve. All our volunteers are passionate about improving the patient experience.
We are developing our volunteer base as we recognise the positive impact volunteering makes on our patients and our Trust.
We expect our volunteers to adopt the Trust's Vision and Values.
In return for their time and dedication, we provide our volunteers with opportunities to build skills, meet new people and make a difference.
