We run a week of induction in late July where you have the opportunity to spend time shadowing the doctors in your first placement and attending daily half day teaching to update you on local protocols, common pitfalls and patient management scenarios. This program has been designed based on requests and suggestions of your predecessors and while not exhaustive is a good, focused introduction to your new career.
