There is a shuttle bus that runs regularly between New Cross and Cannock Chase Hospital . Arriva buses call regularly at the hospital and access to major transport hubs are within easy reach.
There is a large retail park with a supermarket, restaurants and bars, a cinema, trampolining park and fitness centre and swimming pool adjacent to the hospital at New Cross and within walking distance.
Wolverhampton city centre is a short taxi ride from the hospital and offers over 600 shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. As the 2nd largest city in the UK Birmingham remains a popular choice amongst junior doctors for downtime and is just over 15 minutes away on the train. Birmingham offers a wide range of stylish stores in the Bullring and Mailbox, historic markets and a world famous Jewellery Quarter, as well as a large variety of restaurants (some Michelin stars) and nightlife.
