Main entrance drop off zone
Visitors and patients with mobility problems can be dropped off or picked up at the main entrance to the hospital.

Please note that parking in the drop off zones is strictly prohibited in order to allow access for ambulances and other service vehicles.

Pay before you leave (Pay on Foot) Car Park
The barrier controlled visitor car park operates using a token system. The token is dispensed on entering the car park. Before returning to the vehicle to leave the car park the token has to be validated at the pay station by paying the parking charge incurred. Once the correct payment has been made the exit barrier will lift when the validated token is put in the machine. Receipts for payment can be requested at the time of making payment at the pay station.

NOTE: Blue Badge Holders are not required to attend the pay machine, but can go directly to their vehicle. They must have their token and Blue Badge serial number ready when they reach the exit barrier. By pressing the intercom button they can speak with the Car Parking Team, who will assist with exiting the car park.

The pay station:

  • Accepts notes and coins
  • Gives change
  • Charges only for the time parked

Disabled Parking
There are designated disabled parking spaces within the barrier controlled visitor car park in Chenet Way and also along Brunswick Road (Public Highway). Free parking applies to blue badge holders.

The Cannock Chase Hospital site is under increasing pressure for vehicle parking, the Trust therefore encourages patients and visitors to think differently about how they travel and consider more sustainable methods of transport; for example where possible, the use of public transport.
