A big thank you to all of our supporters for helping us enhance patient care and make a real difference to the experiences of our patients and their families.

Your vital support helps us to provide additional resources to patients and their families to help make their visit as comfortable as possible. We could not achieve what we do without every single person who helps make a difference.

If you would like to fundraise in aid of the RWT Charity please contact 01902 694473 or email rwh-tr.fundraisingteam@nhs.net so we can offer our support.

Urgent Covid-19 Appeal
Our Charity: Open Letter to Supporters

Dear Supporter,

When I wrote to you in April 2020 to launch our COVID-19 appeal, none of us thought that we would still be fighting these challenges well into January 2022.

Our hardworking, committed staff – clinical and non-clinical, “frontline staff” and teams “behind the scenes” have continually made sacrifices in their personal lives and pulled together to support our loved ones and each other.

Our staff are weary and as the number of patients with COVID-19 continues to rise, our staff still continue to deliver excellent care.  We are extremely proud of each and every one of them and we are grateful to have such a dedicated workforce.

We hope the end is in sight, but we need your support to help us help our staff over hopefully this final hurdle and show that you are all thinking of them.

You can help us in the following ways:

  • Donate £5 and sponsor a “Wellbeing Pack” for one of our team
We have a workforce of nearly 11,000 staff and we want to send each of them this special gift to show that we appreciate everything they continue to do and remind them to also look after their own health and wellbeing.

  • Follow us social media
Every time you engage with a post, it helps us to share our mission across the city and supports us to make a real difference to the lives of our patients and staff.

  • Visit our Just Giving page
Please make a donation of whatever you can afford – whether that is a one-off donation or a regular gift. You could open a Just Giving page and invite your friends and family to also show their support and also leave messages of encouragement for our staff.

  • “Gift Aid” your recent donations
If you have made a donation in the last 4 years and are a UK taxpayer, please contact us to “Gift Aid” your donation. This means that for every £1 you donated, we can claim 25p from the government at no additional cost to yourself.

  • Join our Unity lottery
You have the chance to not only win £25,000, but also support our vital work. Please visit Unity Lottery - The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust Charity for more information.

However you are able to support us, please know that you are helping the Trust to continue to respond to the unpredictable demands on our services throughout the coming months.

Thank you
