Our Charity: Zines for Wellbeing
Zines for Wellbeing Arts Workshop Course

Introducing a brand new arts workshop course, aimed at improving wellbeing.

Come along and try out different art mediums such as painting and printmaking, and bring your unique artworks together into a zine, or mini-magazine. No prior skills are needed, and you don’t need to bring any materials – just a willingness to try new things.

This course aims to improve wellbeing by offering the opportunity to connect with others and practice creative mindfulness. Through the sessions, you will learn new skills and produce your own artwork to keep or give as gifts.

Copies of the artworks and zines will be distributed across New Cross Hospital to brighten spaces and boost the wellbeing of patients, visitors, and staff. Participants will keep their own artwork and receive copies of their zines to gift to friends or family.

4 workshops will be held at Wolverhampton Art Gallery on Tuesday 28 February, 7, 14 and 21 March, 9am to 12pm

There are 12 places available, offered on a first-come-first-served basis. People can book their place or get further information by emailing  rwh-tr.fundraisingteam@nhs.net. Those who receive a place are encouraged to attend all 4 workshops.
