RWT and the NHS are firmly committed to ensuring that all patients have equal access to all services.
Social distancing as a result of the Covid-19 lockdowns has meant that the NHS has had to re-evaluate the way that we work.
On-screens consultations have proved a very effective way for us to continue to provide excellent patient care at a time when we cannot meet face-face-with our patients and patients have responded well to this.
In order to make consultations by video conference work well, there are a few steps that patients can take to make the consultation seamless. Here is a link to a leaflet that shows what patients need to do. The leaflet is available in a variety of languages other than English to ensure that all of our patients can access RWTs services. If you need an interpreter for your video consultation, please let us know in advance and RWT will arrange this.
