To celebrate Black History Month 2021, the Trust’s Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority (BAME) Employee Voice Group are hosting an arts competition where staff are invited to submit either:
An A4 drawing OR a 300-word poem depicting what Black History Month means to you.
Submissions should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org before Monday, October 18th at 5pm. All entries will be judged by a dedicated panel.
The winner will receive two tickets to see ‘Rush – A Joyous Jamaican Journey’ at Wolverhampton’s Grand Theatre on Tuesday, November 16th. It is a celebration of reggae music and the Windrush generation. Read more on the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre website

Join our 45-minute session on ‘Understanding Race and Terminology’ – this will be an opportunity for managers and staff to learn more about the terminology around race, including terms such as micro-aggressions, privilege, and unconscious bias.
The session will be delivered by Bal Everitt, Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, on Thursday, October 21st 2021 from 12pm – 12.45pm.
