The South Staffordshire Medical Foundation Clinical Awards 2016

The South Staffordshire Medical Foundation Clinical Awards 2016

The South Staffordshire Medical Foundation (SSMF) is a charity based at the Wolverhampton Medical Institute at New Cross Hospital that uses its funds for the promotion and advancement of the study and general knowledge of science and medicine and all matters relating to the progress and development of all branches of medicine and surgery mainly in South Staffordshire, Wolverhampton and surrounding areas.

In 2016, the SSMF launched an exciting new Award Scheme to recognise and reward excellent clinical practice and research.

The SSMF Awards were open to all healthcare professionals, clinical teams and healthcare workers in Primary or Secondary Care or Voluntary Services throughout South Staffordshire, the City of Wolverhampton and surrounding areas.

Awards were presented by Dr Satya Sharma MBE, DL Chair of the SSMF Trust Board, and former General Practitioner in Bilston with Dr Chris Walker FRCGP SSMF Trustee and former GP Wolverhampton.
