The Royal Awards 2023: Recognising our RWT Stars
Awards: Royal Awards 2023 Banner

Staff at RWT go above and beyond on a daily basis to make a difference to both our patients and colleagues. The Royal Awards are an opportunity to recognise the hard work and dedication of both clinical and non-clinical colleagues who work across all areas of our organisation.

This year we have 12 categories where staff can nominate teams or colleagues, whilst our Chairman and Chief Executive will also pick a team who they feel have made a real difference to the organisation over the past year.

We also have a patient’s choice award this year, in which patients and their families can nominate individuals or teams who have had a real impact on their care and recovery.

RWT Long Service Awards
Awards: Long Standing Awards and Charity Logo

The Long Service Awards were launched at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust in 2019 to recognise, acknowledge and congratulate some of the exemplary staff across the Trust. Members of staff receive awards for either 25, 30, 40 or 50 years of service, hard work and commitment to the NHS.

Due to the unprecedented challenges of COVID-19, we have been unable to host the 2019/20 and the 2020/21 awards as we would have hoped.

Royal Awards 2020

Each year, The Royal Awards provides us with a chance to recognise the hard work, dedication and fantastic care given by our staff and teams.

Once again the judges were truly overwhelmed after reading all the nominations which covered the period from March 2019-March 2020.

It was a hard decision to choose the winners but the results are in!!!

However, in a year like no other, we have had to adapt and change the way we run this year’s ceremony.

Due to COVID-19 our usual red carpet event had to be cancelled, but we still wanted to celebrate and recognise all the incredible winners this year.

Therefore we have put together a virtual celebration video. Please click below to read the inspirational stories and see the winners
