Car Parking

Main entrance drop off zone
Visitors and patients with mobility problems can be dropped off or picked up at the main entrance to the hospital. If staying beyond the required time to drop off a passenger, drivers must move their vehicle to an appropriate car park.

Please note that parking in the drop off zones is strictly prohibited in order to allow access for ambulances and other service vehicles.

Patients and visitors who are disabled
Parking spaces for cars displaying the orange or blue European badges for disabled people are available. Parking is free-of-charge when there are no free designated disabled parking spaces, requiring a disabled visitor or patient to park on the ‘Pay on Foot’ car park.

To leave the ‘Pay on Foot’ car parks, disabled people do not need to use the pay machines, but should go directly to their cars with their tokens. Upon reaching the barrier, drivers should have their token and disabled badge serial numbers ready, before pressing the intercom button to speak with the Car Parking Team, who will assist.

Patients attending Cannock Hospital and parking in Brunswick Road Car Park which belongs to the District Council, are asked to ensure they display their Badge and Clock correctly and not to overstay the time in the space they have parked in. The Parking Attendants need to see the side which shows the expiry date.
